The danger of Carbon Monoxide , the silent killer, has finally been addressed by the passing of a new law SB183, which will go into effect on January 1st.
This law requires that a carbon monoxide detector be put into every Los Angeles home inhabited by humans, whether it be a single family home or residential income.
single family units need to comply by January 1st owners of multi-family units by July 1st.

Jane….awesome information as I never even think about this!
And it reminds me that after my dryer caught fire, I had to disconnect my smoke detector as it was wired to my alarm system which I don’t use anymore.
I’ll be off to Home Depot this weekend for BOTH of these important safety features you should have in your home!
HI Jane – this is great information, and very important. Thank you so much for sharing. I know your readers will appreciate it.
