The Wilshire Corridor is a a two mile section of Wilshire Boulevard in Westwood known for its upscale high rise condo buildings.
I am often asked which are the best buildings on the Wilshire Corridor? Now that is a difficult question to answer objectively. It really depends on what you are looking for in a building. Most of them are full service, with 24/7 concierge and valet service, but there may be other features which are important to you:
Probably the largest pool on the Corridor is at Blair House, which takes up the entire next door lot where the building’s garage is located also. The prettiest pool is on the roof of The Dorchester.
If tennis is your thing then Blair House, Wilshire House, and the Wilshire Marquis are the buildings for you.
Want your elevator to enter directly into your unit, then The Remington, Beverly West, The Carlyle, The Wilshire and The Californian meet that desire.
The largest gym on the Corridor is at the Park Wilshire.
The lowest homeowners dues in a full service building on the Corridor are at The Wilshire Regent, averaging in the $600 to $700s and they include all utilities. This building also has guest suites which you can rent for around $78 a night. They also have offices for rent.
The buildings which are considered to be in the A category are The Carlyle and the Beverly West (the two newest buildings on the Corridor), The Remington, Blair House, La Tour, Wilshire House, The Californian, and The Wilshire.
