West Hollywood is still one of the more affordable communities in Los Angeles. An incorporated city with a high Walk Score, West Hollywood has great dining, stores, galleries, and nightlife, and is a much sought-after neighborhood in which to live.

West Hollywood real estate has a much lower concentration of single family homes than condos and apartments. Sales remained the same for single as in 2013 but the median price was down, probably due to the types of homes which sold and not a reflection of the market.
Condo sales were down slightly, but the median prices was up.
As with other Los Angeles neighborhoods, inventory is extremely low.
